Subaru 360 ___________________________________________________________

Weighing in at a clean 1,000 lbs., the Subaru 360 is a Japanese midcentury mini-mobile produced and marketed for its accessibility due to its low, entry-level price and easily-sourced replacement parts. It was manufactured from 1958-1971 by Subaru (then pronounced Su-baru), producing approximately 392,000 cars over its 12 year stint. In Japan, it was also affectionately nicknamed the "ladybug." The 360 is one of the larger microcars featured on this website, as it has four wheels and two doors, but it still only measures in at 9.75' long, and 4.25' wide.
