Howdy, I'm Gianna! Originally from a small town just north of San Francisco, I grew up surrounded by my creative family who were my biggest motivation to pursue design. Altough I'm now finishing up my Junior year in Portland State University's design program, the Graphic Arts are still quite new to me; I grew up creating things with my hands, and hope to one day go back using laser cutters, 3D printers, or even just a needle and thread. While in high school, I was a student and taught as a TA in Dale Dougherty & Tim O'Rielly's pilot class, Project MAKE, where I first learned to code a buzzer using an Arduino Uno. (Here's the link to my Maker portfolio from 2017!) Since then, I've been mainly using just my latop to work on digital projects in Adobe InDesign & Photoshop, but in the future I hope use my experience in both fields to bridge the gap between the two worlds of design!
